ELECTRICITY CALCULATOR

Computer monitor power cost comparison

Compare the electricity cost of two computer monitor options using average input power and your own tariff.

Enter amounts in the same currency throughout. Nothing is sent to our server.

How this calculation works

Average input watts ÷ 1,000 × hours per day × days gives kWh for each option. Multiply each by the price per kWh and subtract B from A. A negative difference means B costs more. Use measured average wall power: duty cycles and operating conditions vary. Fixed charges, taxes and tariff changes are excluded.
